What is IBPS Clerk Exam?
IBPS Clerk is a Common Written Exam (CWE), conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for recruitment to nationalized banks in India to fill vacancies for clerical level jobs. CWE is a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for Clerical cadre posts in Public Sector Banks. Candidates who are selected for clerical cadre have to be on probation for 6 months. After the completion of the period, they are required to appear for the assessment test/performance review in order to confirm as permanent employees

The Ministry of Finance puts a hold on IBPS Clerk 2021 recruitment on Tuesday until a final decision to be made on whether or not to conduct tests in regional languages. The Committee will give its recommendations within 15 days until then the ongoing process of recruiting candidates for clerical cadre posts is kept on hold.

IBPS Clerk Notification 2021
IBPS Clerk notification is out on 11th July 2021. The link to the IBPS Clerk application form 2021 will be activated from 12th July 2021 onwards. According to the IBPS Calendar 2021-22, the IBPS Clerk Prelims exam is scheduled to be held from 28th August till 04th September 2021 while the IBPS Clerk Mains exam will conduct on 31st October 2021.

IBPS Clerk Eligibility 2021
IBPS Clerk eligibility criteria are divided into three different stages by the officials of IBPS. It is mandatory for every candidate to fulfill the following IBPS Clerk eligibility criteria 2021. If any candidate fails, to fulfill the criteria his/her candidature will be canceled by the officials.

1. Nationality: If you wish to apply for the IBPS Clerk 2021 exam, then you have to fulfill the first stage of eligibility which is as follows:
He/She must have a citizenship of India, or
He/She must be a subject of Nepal, or
He/She must be a subject to Bhutan, or
A Tibetan Refugee who came to India for settling permanently.
An Indian Originated person who has migrated from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, Vietnam, Zaire, and other east African countries whom the government of India has issued the certificate of eligibility.
2. Age-based Eligibility: As per the official IBPS Clerk age limit criteria, the minimum age of the candidate should be 20 and a maximum of 28 years as on 1st July 2021.
3. Educational Qualification: The IBPS Clerk educational qualification demands a minimum qualification of graduation from a recognized university on or before 01st August 2021.
