The Business and Economic Department at Neapolis University is seeking applications to fill a position in Business Administration at the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidates are expected to teach a wide variety of basic and advanced courses in their discipline. Full-time faculty members are also expected to attend faculty meetings and university events, serve on committees, and engage in academic scholarship and professional development activities.

Qualifications and experience

We are seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Professor in Business Administration. Applicants who research in Business Administration (Business Development Professionals, entrepreneurship, International Business, Sustainability Management and Business Services and Administration Managers) are encouraged to apply. In this position you will: design and teach business related units at undergraduate and postgraduate levels to culturally-diverse student cohorts, and provide curriculum development, contribute to the research strengths of the discipline, including the pursuit of research grants and regular publication in journals of high standing, supervise higher degree research students, be involved in interdisciplinary collaborations within the University and with external stakeholders, contribute to academic administration. The applicants should hold a doctoral degree in Management or Economics or Business Administration.

Applicants are expected to have demonstrated a high level of academic competence, have experience of leading academic research, good teaching skills and extensive teaching experience, as well as strong international visibility within the academic community. In addition, experience of doctoral education, applying for external funding, international research co-operation and academic expert assignments, as well as experience of participation in administrative tasks within an academic department, faculty or university are expected.

The following additional qualifications are also considered as merits: experience of responsibility for a degree programme, a subject, department, faculty or university, successfully raising external research funds, experience in leading the development of teaching, and pedagogical education.
